I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you at Park Practice for the excellent care we’ve received during the pandemic and in particular when myself, my wife and our two children (one of whom was only 2 weeks old) when we all caught covid mid January. I feel that the care we have had was exceptional, on informing the practice we had covid we got a text message with instructions on what to do and we’re regularly checked up on by one of the team As a result of a checkup early covid deterioration signs were picked up and my wife had to go to hospital, fortunately it was caught early she only had to go in for a few hours for treatment and was discharged but continued to be monitored by Park Practice, I feel this early intervention likely prevented more serious symptoms/impact and possibly a lengthily stay in hospital with our newborn due to breastfeeding. We are extremely grateful of the care we received when we got covid as well as the numerous prescriptions that have been quickly filled, telephone appointments and consultations. We have told everyone who will listen how great Park Practice is!

This is an excellent medical practice. Same day appointment with Duty doctor for an urgent problem and reasonable wait for non-urgent appointments with your regular GP. Nursing staff are very efficient and clerical staff always helpful and pleasant. You are all much appreciated, thank you.
I've been a patient at this surgery for around 3 years. I have been 3 times. Each time being unpleasant during consultation, it was an extreme struggle to get through to book an appointment, once you did, there were very limited slots. You also cannot pre-book for the next day?! The receptions are rude and unwelcoming. I recently called up about a matter. As everything is done via telephone communication I assumed it would be less challenging to get an appointment.. nope, it took me 22 phone calls to actually get through in the morning. Once I did, I requested an in person appointment, this was not accepted even though the matter could not be resolved via a telephone call... I proceeded to wait nearly 4 hours for the phone call from the doctor, at which the call lasted under 90 seconds! All it was to her was a job to tick off, there was absolutely no help or support about a serious and life changing decision. A number was given to my from the DR and that was that. Throughout the day, I had a few concerns. I politely called up the practice, the receptionist on the phone was lovely, but the time scale for the next consultation with the doctor was ridiculous between 1PM and 6PM. The DR called again later, I explained the situation, her response was extremely rude, almost coming off as sarcastic and agressive, made me feel very uncomfortable. I've never had an issue with previous doctors at other surgeries, but the doctors here genuinely make you feel like a burden to them, they have absolutely no interest in helping their patients whatsoever, and never seem to actually know what to do. I will be transferring soon as I do not feel comfortable at this place.
I have been at this practice for a year, I first came to register and see a doctor because of my diabetes 2, alas I still have not seen a doctor but have been passed around like a piece of meat from paramedics to nurse after nurse. They are polite and probably think this to be streamlining but a patient has no confidence in a setup where this happens. In my previous experiences the doctor was someone you share your intimate secrets with like a priest, but this only makes you feel like your on a coveyer belt. Not only that but none of these nurses seem to be able to take blood samples. My arms are like pin cushions having to visit at least once a month, now they are sending me to the hospital because they can't manage it. I find the whole episode extraordinary and unnecessary.
I recently attended Park Practice for a flu vaccination and just wanted to say thank you for such a well organised and courteous service.
