Very lucky to have met rear gunner Joseph Williams back on a visit in 2014, who organised the memorial. Great place to visit and reflect with stunning scenery, and excellent viewing of the Eastbourne airshow, as you can see from my red arrows photo :)

Beautiful spot and such a wonderful town , complementing lovely, breezy Easter Sat Thanks
Great walk, amazing views. The memorial is fitting and lovely to sit at and contemplate what those blame men did for us
Well worth visiting any memorial, but hang on when windy it is strong, but you can see the light house from this side.
I visited here by climbing steep hills from Eastbourne. This memorial stone is involved in the story in WW2, especially Royal Air force. This point is the last UK land the airmen can see when flying to the Europe.
A sombre and poignant place for reflection.
Fantastic place, the views are stunning. The icecream sold at the parking is fine too, the pub sells quality food and coffee. Been there quite some times, surely will come back too!
Its at the top of Beachy Head and the view is quite marvelous and sometimes there are free air displays as the cliffs are a great backdrop for aerial photos
