Me and my partner found this amazing little place on Facebook so thought we would try it out as we saw the burger and shake for 10 deal, first off they are very welcoming and friendly and I felt comfortable as soon as I sat down , we tried out the burgers from the vegan selection (even though I am meat eater), she had the falafel burger and I had the tomato and halloumi from the special menu , they offered us vegan buns too but we chose brioche - they both tasted amazing and the vegan slaw was just as tasty as the real thing. The milkshakes were gorgeous! We both had the Beuno one , overall we couldn’t fault anything at all! Highly recommend for any vegetarian and vegan as there are plenty of options available - we will be returning :)

Visited today after we had heard Rumours Cafe had been posted on the Vegan Eastbourne group. It’s nice to see a venue catering for so many people and their dietary requirements! The menu is HUGE. There’s vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options for mains and I even spotted vegan and gluten free cupcakes! Ace! I tried a falafel burger today which was under a fiver, great value and tasted amazing. They don’t do chips at all which was odd but the burger didn’t leave me wanting more. My partner had the cashew paella and I was stealing some off their plate as it was glorious too. I would recommend trying this place out, they accept cards (inc contactless), have toilers, the decor is great and they even have outdoor seating.
Tasty chunky smoothy and cooked breakfast. They also have a vegan menu.
Quite a varied menu of well presented and tasty meals, cakes and snacks. Had two visits in the same day. Very friendly and pleasant owner has turned an old branch of Midland Bank into this nice cafe. I wonder what they use the huge safe for now. A shame the council has decided to erect scaffolding during the summer period, to carry out repairs to the block, but look out for Rumours on the left hand side with the sea behind you.
What a joy owner was such a nice guy. Only popped in for a tea and cake. Had a Portuguese tart absolutely brilliant. Service was really good. Warm and friendly very nice. Bread looked absolutely lovely. Must pop in and get a loaf.
