I have been for breakfast and dinner, and both times walked out a very happy customer. Food is fantastic and the service is equally as impressive. Excellent menu. You get what you pay for here and that is a brilliant dining experience.

Nice, clean cafe. Sat outside on a sunny morning for breakfast. Ordered an americano and a mocha, both were strong and delicious. Full English is locally sourced and filling. Would definitely stop again.

Amazing staff and very nice atmosphere. Food was a little pricey for what you got. The steak was slightly undercooked and had barely been seasoned. All other parts of dish lacked a solid flavour. Dessert was nicely presented (plum trifle) but again lacked real flavour.
Very nice food, Very nice people, Party of 3, my wife, my friend both had breakfast & enjoyed, my wife had the GF breakfast. I had the Bacon, Poached Egg & Avocado on toast below. AWESOME.
Wonderful restaurant. We've eaten in Skylark a number of times and I am always impressed. The food is excellent, both the regulars and specials. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the staff all wonderful. We always feel really well looked after by Erina, Craig and the team. In terms of great local food, i cannot speak highly enough. The real highlights are : the seafood dishes! delicious, fresh and always interesting. the deserts - i dont even really like deserts but my goodness! Craig is a flipping genius with them! the staff - such lovely people who are always really happy to ensure you've a lovely meal or takeaway in these Covid times. Thanks so much team and keep up the great work during these difficult times! x ps if Craig is ever up for doing some cooking lessons i'd love to get signed up!
Me and a friend had the vegetarian breaky. Really good quality, perfectly poached eggs, juicy seasoned mushroom, all the individual elements were really good. A light, pleasant environment and nice coffee and tea too. Would definitly recommend.
Skylark lived up to the good comments I've heard. Clean and well presented. Most importantly - very well cooked. Looking forward to a return visit
