Great place to try your hand at new food, fun pottery classes with new friends. Pleased to be collaborating with The Cookshelf to bring wonderful African cooking to the English coast.

A little gem of a cookery school. My son is a very fussy eater, so I booked him in for cookery lessons to encourage him to try new things. He absolutely loved it and was so proud of the food he made. Kate and Nick are great tutors and make it fun too. Highly recommended!
Very welcoming and friendly, great food and amazing coffee. I would highly recommend. I went with my partner and mother in law, we took our little girl along and she was playing and having fun. Child friendly, and they have a tots group on Wednesday from 10am.
We love the Cookshelf, great coffee, brilliant kids pottery workshops - my son loves it! Recommended and essential to visit when in Eastbourne.
This lovely venue in the heart of eastbourne offers fantastic ideas for birthday parties, learning new cooking skills or just delishious coffee. The range of pottery on offer to paint in store is great for any occasion or holiday and The Cookshelf is definitely worth a visit! 5*****
What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! It is like visiting with friends. Kate and her team are ultra warm and welcoming. I found the cookshelf by happy accident from being invited to a birthday party there. Have been back several times since. The atmosphere in cookshelf is so cosy and lovely. Hot chocolate and fairy lights. What's not to love?
Kate and the team at The Cookshelf and The Potteryshelf are excellent. The café is relaxed, friendly and they have the best homemade sausage rolls in Eastbourne! The Cookery class I did was great fun, informative and tasty! A great way to spend an evening. I'd highly recommend The Cookshelf for group activities.
Great birthday party for creative children. Good for parents with small children as well.
