I love next to the Eagle and is one of our spots for the summer and football games. The terrace is the place to be with your mates on a hot afternoon. They do telecast football matches over their numerous screens. The food options and quality has gone down recently (probably since COVID). Now it is all just some kebabs, wraps and chips.

Dropped in to catch some football and a couple of beers on Sun afternoon with a friend. Impressed by friendly and accommodating staff and way were taking COVID procedures seriously. Good range of nice beer and not unreasonably priced. Place was really well presented and clean (including the loos). Well done!
Well organised in these difficult times. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of TVs showing sport, interesting snack menu and outside seating. Good looking place.
Great football pub tastyful beer from different brewery's. Food/dinner is also possible to buy.
It maybe Covid, but the attitude to some birthday celebrations last night was out of order, you're meant to be publican's! shouting at someone because they're being loud and TAKING YOUR MASK OFF to do so is quite simply a contradiction in actions.... Aggrevating customers will be your downfall as they won't return and when all this is over, you'll be left with an empty boozer because the Landlady doesn't know her manners \u200d️
