Most professional crew ever. Very reasonable price for the amount of work performed. Eastern Septic team came on time, explained the process and what to do to prevent septic issues. I have lived in this house for the last 10 yrs and had my septic pumped every two years and never knew that my septic had two areas that needed to be cleaned and pumped. To summarize the solids area of my septic was never pumped as the other companies only pumped the wastewater side only. Thank you eastern septic for being so honest and professional with the customer. I will highly recommend to all customers looking to get your system pumped right.

Eastern Septic is great for everything you need dealing with your septic system. Shane and Michelle are great down-to-earth people and run their business with the customers needs are the priority. But, customers need to be flexible too, no matter what. With all this rain my septic system was taking a beating( like everyone else) and had me worried. But letting Shane and his helper be after they arrived and let them evaluate what was going on (not playing 50 questions during the process). Once they were done and had a plan on what avenue we should do, I asked them a few questions, and Shane and his helper answered them all with no problem. Now, my system could not be fixed right then, but he made sure that our system was still usable with limits to not overwork the system. They kept us informed through the whole process and repair layout. Now, we can use our septic system without any fear of issues. Thanks to our lazy house builder and a previous subpar septic crew that played with our septic system that caused a premature failure to our system. Thank you, Shane, Michelle, and the helper. If you choose Eastern Septic you will not regret it.

LEAVE YOUR CONCEALED CARRY WEAPON IN YOUR TRUCK. THERE IS NOTHING YOU NEED TO BE CARRYING A PISTOL FOR WHILE IN A TRENCH. Shane MacDonald (owner) has the most atrociously insulting and dismissive attitude. He shows up late to meet us after two cancellations and then cops an attitude the whole time. He removed a tree and a stump as part of a leach field repair and deposited them on my neighbor’s property. When I asked Shane to move the tree and stump back onto my property he couldn’t even be bothered to turn around and look at me or even say anything— and then leaves the tree and stump in a different place than what I asked. One small tree that he moved for me was put in the wrong spot after my wife and I both showed him exactly where we wanted it and placed a flag so he wouldn’t miss it. I asked Shane if he needed access to the home for anything and he said no, and then I get a text message from my daughter on the day of the repair asking how to turn off the water heater, because the county water was disconnected and the water heater could be damaged if it wasn’t turned off while the water was disconnected. Shane’s equipment left noticeable and distinct ruts in my yard and he initially declined to fill in an 15’ wide depression. Shane did bring a *small* amount of soil to fix the depression his equipment. Re-seeding the lawn was not part of the service agreement, but he left me with quite a bit of work to do fixing the yard before re-seeding. 0/10. Would not recommend.

If I had to describe Shane and his team in as few words as possible I would use, reliable, integrity, and down to earth. Reliable, because he says what he can do for you, or how he can help, and then actually does it. Integrity, as a former soldier he understands everyone, as well as, his team has a role to play. Whether you're the consumer or contractor, Shane makes sure everyones role is clear. From whose required or responsible to pull permits, having the electrical lines identified, the role of supporting contractors and who communicates with them if needed to complete the mission/job, all the way down to your method of payment. Integrity, because once he starts the job he is with you until completion. My family's insulation was started just before hurricane season, therefore the rain and soft ground hampered the installation. Nevertheless, Shane kept me informed every step of the way that he was on top of the weather and stayed with me (through communication that is), until job was completed. I would recommend Shane and his team to my mother, aunts, uncles, boss, and of course any and all military veterans; for me that is the highest recommendation you can give. W. Milledge Rangers lead the Way!
