Lovely lovely place Greebs in the river, with babies! Some people take mini boats and sail them which is fun to see! Steam and diesel trains to ride (would reccommend for families and uni students) Dog friendly Lots of rosehips for foraging Beautiful lakes and lots of places for picnic tables Also a little Ford you can wade through in wellies And a fallen oak tree on the path atm which I deemed to be a positive (you can get round easily on bike or on foot!) Also lovely food, cakes and ice cream!

Go visit here if you can! A lovely community run railway with a wide selection of locomotives keeping both big and small kids entertained for hours. Take a picnic and do a few loops! Good social distancing in place too.

Open with trains running, social distance measures in place. New Forest ice creams whilst riding the train, good fun with the kids. Plenty of nature reserve to walk round. Note station at Monks Brook (near the playground) is closed due to Covid restrictions.

Fantastic to be riding on the ELR once again, ticket office on the platform, no shop only ice creams. Today we had the pleasure of three very lovely Great Central guest engines enabling the home fleet to rest their axles. Trips are single return not stopping at Monks Brook Halt. Great arrangement of the rolling stock for social distancing using alternate open and first class carriages to keep your own safety bubbles. Well done Eastleigh Lakeside Railway for a lovely afternoon.
