Our local Home Bargains has taken over the old Homebase store and has gone from good to superb, except for the crowds. I've visited twice and both times I haven't bought anything due to the queues at the checkouts. I'll try and visit again on a weekday afternoon when hopefully it'll be less busy. It has a good garden section outside at the back and it's range of goods is impressive. I still haven't browsed the upstairs section so I've got that to look forward to. All in all its a good shop for cheap goods

Enjoy shopping here. Staff are friendly. Because it's cheaper than a supermarket things can run out of stock. This store is walking distance so if I plan to buy a couple of items I walk, but never had an issue with parking when I have taken the car. This store is popular so can get busy.

Well stocked, clean store. Plenty of customer parking. There is a queuing system to enter and sanitiser/wipes provided by the door. I went on a Saturday and there was a very long wait at the checkouts - despite being able to see how many people are in line the till operators were pretty slow and carried on chatting to customers even after they'd paid for their items. No sense of urgency whatsoever and room for improvement.

This is a great store. Wide selection of products at a great price. Staff are friendly. One downside can be the queuing at the tills...but they are often quick to open a new one so all good.

Great store seems to have a little of everything, which is good. From food and drink, toys, home and garden. Reasonable price and reasonable quality products. Free parking can be busy at times. Queue at tills can occur.

It's getting better, went a while with limited items but seems to be a bit better. The quality is what you pay for really. Lots of impulse buying! Check out is normally slow and awkward area to pack your bag and they don't assist in anyway. Normally ran out of bags so end up paying for a premium bag! So bring your own kids! Staff are normally friendly, but not the service to ask where things are, just till staff. One way system for covid, but no one follows it. Parking good as part of the retail park and free! Overall well presented and great for the bits you never needed!
