Lovely walks around the lakes, family friendly. The steam trains are so cool. The best Cafe around, the cakes are divine!

Lovely place to walk, plenty of different routes to take. Lots of different areas/zones in the park. A variety of wildlife, a gorgeous minature steam railway, great to go in (in season) lucky to have this park so close.

A beautiful little corner of Eastleigh with a fantastic cafe and miniature railway. You will need suitable footwear during the winter as it can get a bit waterlogged.

Val Hall

A nice walk with a variety of environments: woodland, grassland and the lovely lake with so many waterfowl. The little train ride is fun for kids, good play area too, and the cafe is a welcome sight after a chilly stroll. However, right now (mid November) it's VERY muddy here and there - wellies essential and be prepared to bath your dogs afterwards!
