Lena Bayfield Kent I am disabled and by mistake, as I was having a seizure my computer screen smashed to bits. Microlink were very understanding and quickly phoned a delivery company to pick it up, had it delivered right back onto my doorstep in a week! When you see companies adjust to a disabled person's needs, it speaks volumes about the staff and the company overall. I cannot fault them!

I have had 2 problems with my laptop so far, not long to wait on the phone and Richard was very professional. He found out what the problem was and fixed it very quickly. I really appreciate the professional help what Micro link offers

I needed a new glass front for an Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display. Microlink informed me that they couldn't do anything without performing a chargeable "full diagnostic test on the system" at 50 to evaluate if there was any further damage that needed repairing. The fee for this is only refundable when I pay them to perform the work. I don't want any further damage repairing, I know that it's just the glass screen because I'm the one that broke the glass screen and it's working fine without the glass but just looks ugly. Microlink wouldn't give me a quote without performing the diagnostics test so this opens me up to the possibility of them charging 50 to perform a pointless diagnostics test then over-charging for the replacement glass panel and then being stuck with a diagnostics fee or an overpriced replacement panel. Avoid at all costs and take your repair to the Apple Store directly.

In March my iMac developed a fault which Microlink diagnosed, after a lengthy diagnostic period, as a defective hard drive. This was replaced at a cost of nearly 200.00. This lasted for approx 7 months then the unit developed the same fault. Diagnostics carried out again. Unit passed diagnostic test, reset and collected (cost 27.00). Repair lasted 3 days. Same fault. Returned to Microlink, some confusion between technicians. I received a call to say unit ready for collection. Set out to collect (round trip 34 miles). Almost there and received another call to say, don't bother, the unit had failed again. Further tests revealed hard drive failed - again! Authorised repair, collected (another 49.00). Three days later, same fault occurred. I understand that computers (especially Apple) are complex pieces of equipment, but I would have thought that, as the symptoms are repeated, and changing the hard drive has not effected a repair, then something else must be causing the problem and I shouldn't have to keep paying for new hard drives. I contacted the company to complain with the hope that there might be some form of restitution - if only for the fuel covering repeated journeys, but nothing forthcoming. Very disappointed with the service from Microlink.

really poor customer service, they are rude and after paying they threaten they wont offer their services anymore. This guy ( most likely from iran) Kiya Haflangi, really poor service. I would never want to deal with them again. The software they are selling is outdate, doesn't work with mac, and they don't even know this.I would just avoid them altogether.
