Fourth stay at the Fox and Hounds, attentive and friendly staff and excellent food. Will definitely be going back.
Lovely food and great service the only problem was the rather loud table of young lads at 5 in the afternoon drinking, no respect for people around them, sadly we couldn’t get away as we had dogs so we had to sit where they were at the bar! Totally ruined our meal! Could t even talk to the other people on our table as we couldn’t hear each other over them
Excellent staff and service. The food was brilliant and I would definitely recommend going.... The only reason for the 4 star review is because of the obnoxious group that were sat a few tables down from us. Very loud to the point I could hardly have a decent conversation with my friends. They ruined my time here which is sad because its a wonderful pub. Maybe the staff should ask them to sit outside and swear and shout instead of inside...

Had a lovely lunch today with friends. Jamie and Olivia are stars, made our day, as did the food, delicious.
Great experience today. Felt nice and safe during Covid-19. Food was excellent and quick to arrive. They have certainly upped their game
We had a table booked for six last night. The food was lovely...even tho 5 meals came out 10 minutes before the 6th. The service however was dismal. The lady in charge of the bar was strident and stern faced and didn't seem to want to be there,. We received no welcome apart from a loud reprimand to keep away from the bar. We asked for our table and was told to " just go sit where you want...we don't take bookings " !! It was very quiet for a saturday night but even so, no one came to ask if we had everything we needed, no one asked if we wanted desert, in fact once all 6 meals were finally there no one else came near apart from to clear the plates. There were 3 people behind the bar and yet it still took 5 minutes to get the attention of someone to order a round....even tho there was nobody else at the bar. We won't be going back...200 for what was a good main course and a few rounds of drinks would have been fine if we hadn't been made to feel like we were in the staff's way. 2 stars for the food....even tho we weren't offered pudding! And no track and trace either
