We followed the guidelines by booking a table and wearing a mask so why is it so hard for this restaurant to follow them? We arrived at our designated time and numerous staff walked past and looked our way, but we waited up to 10 minutes to be acknowledged and shown to our seat. The waiter explained the new one way system but this seems pointless as the staff themselves don’t even seem to be using it! There are signs for social distancing plastered all around the restaurant and yet they don’t apply they rules to the layout of the tables? We were sat between two tables and you could easily touch the person behind you. We ordered drinks and food quite quickly, we were then told that our waitress would be back to take us to the salad bar, whilst we were waiting she returned with a tray of condiments and dirty cutlery which a passing waiter changed for us. We continued to wait to be shown to the salad bar and it was only when our main food arrived that they realised they had neglected us and took my partner to the salad bar. Why did we not flag anyone down? The waiting staff are barely around and do not make eye contact so that is not as easy as you would think. The toilets in this restaurant were dirty and without toilet paper. There was even a dirty nappy left on the window sill. It’s funny that social distancing is encouraged in the toilet where you will be next to someone for seconds, but the tables are practically on top of each other where you are sitting with others for at least an hour. When we had finished our meal, one waitress walked past our table 4 times before clearing our plate and she was not even doing anything. She was literally pacing the floor. Even though the food was nice, the service definitely leave something to be desired.

Food was okay, there wasn't as much flavour in the food as other harvesters I have visited. There also wasn't much of a selection at the salad bar. The freakshakes are lovely! Nice atmosphere. And staff are very friendly. Overall I would visit again.
We usually visit every couple of months & in general we enjoy our cooked breakfast. On our visit a couple of weeks ago we were very disappointed. We weren't offered anything from the buffet, several items were missing from our order, the food was cold & we had to collect our own sauces. I definitely wasn't 2 metres away from the next table. Lockdown apart we don't intend to visit again for a while, which is a shame as it's a lovely location.
Had a lovely meal here this evening. Laura who served us, was super helpful. No request was too big - she even tried to satisfy my friend’s request for a sundae with no ice cream!!!! we felt very safe with all of the measures they have taken to keep everyone COVID free at the moment. We didn’t feel rushed to vacate our table ( I have in other places recently) and the meal was really lovely.
Had a lovely meal here, polite staff, welcoming manager. Covid restrictions as they should be. I will definitely be making return. Thank you.
A little short on menu items but the team are pulling together. Great service and the food is amazing.
Absolutely had a lovely evening tonight, the Manager showed us to our table and we didn't wait very long for a staff member who's name was Libby to come and ask us what we'd like to drink. She came back with our drinks and asked if we wanted a starter and also salad in which case we did and she said that someone would be over to assist us at the salad counter. We didn't have to wait long for our starters and when we finished our starters our main course arrived which looked lovely. During our meal Libby came over a couple of times to ask if everything was okay. A big thankyou to the Manager and all his staff and especially Libby for amazing friendly service. Definitely will go back again and will definitely recommend The Ham Farm Harvester to friends and family.
This is our regular Harvester, we always have experienced good customer service. Food quality is as expected from the Harvester and hot on arrival. Waitress explained the new Covid-19 rules to us and were very attentive. She accommodated all our swapping around of menu items with no hassle. Toilets and communal areas were clean and tidy.
