Very warm welcome, clean, service was quick apart from the first initial part of being taken to our table waiting to come in. With the covid-19 the rules are clear and the signage around stand out with the one way system. Although we came during festive period they were out of stock on mulled wine which was disappointing but on a positive the food was amazing, well prepared and good portions. Hot too been a while since going to a pub and finding chips so hot I couldn't pick them with my fingers. Would 100% go back to this little gem of a pub. Highly recommended

We went for a lovely meal on Thursday evening, we had the hiltonbury burger and the chicken burger, which was delicious and presented beautifully. We sat outside on a day where it was supposed to be raining, but the table outside was well covered and had fairy lights for a nice cosy atmosphere. The tables were also separated enough so that there was a nice distance between other tables, so we felt very comfortable in our space. I can not recommend enough, and will most certainly visit again!

Great place to go with friends or family outside of your household as there is plenty of outdoor seating, each with their own heaters. We had a very enjoyable lunch and the service was very friendly. Would recommend!

Lovely place to eat. Outside garden pods were a great facility. We ate indoors on this occasion and found the service friendly and efficient. Simple menu aimed at the family with a few unusual options on offer. Having made the 'usual' pub food choices we were delighted with the quality of the presentation and cooking style, which was exceptional. We felt the prices were about right before we received the meal but lower than they should have been once we had eaten. On top of that the establishment was offering 30% off all food following the end of 'eat out to help out'. Would definitely recommend.

Despite the cold enjoyed a good evening outdoors in one the pods. Very good meal and it felt festive (nice decorations rather than the weather). Highly recommended.
