The one lady who works here, Tina I believe, is always so lovely and helpful, recommending me a really good fan come spray bottle during the summer and just being a really nice person to be assisted and served by in general. She strikes me as the type of person who you would never see losing their rag. Makes this works my favourite and a pleasure to go in.

Today I was in The Works and there was a new member of staff who I felt lifted the atmosphere of the shop. He was clearly learning the ropes and needed a little extra guidance but I could tell he was doing his best. I loved how patient and calm the staff training him were especially when he'd forgotten to do something. The staff member gently guided him to what he needed to do without any frustration or annoyance and it was lovely to see someone being trained with such patience, understanding and respect. As a customer, it made me feel that I'd be treated with the same patience, kindness and respect too and that felt very welcoming.
