We attended the wedding of our son and his bride at this most beautiful Wisconsin barn venue in early July. The property and grounds are gorgeous, and the barn is incredible. The ceremony was held outside under a big maple tree, and the reception, dinner and dance were inside. The barn is very spacious and offers a kitchen, indoor bathrooms, bridal room, loft for additional seating, bar area, and large area for the reception and dance, all decorated with little white lights. The wood floor is clean and beautiful. There's a large grassy area for yard games, a nice bonfire pit, a lovely outdoor balcony overlooking the yard and fire pit. At night the fireflies lit up the entire tree-line to add to the magic of the night. Jeanne was delightful to work with, and everything was perfect and magical. I would highly recommend! Gatherings on the ridge is a real treasure.

Gatherings on the Ridge was the perfect venue! So beautiful and peaceful, I knew as soon as I walked in that I had to have my wedding there. I even changed my date to make it work. Jeanne was so wonderful and helpful every step of the way. She made sure everything was absolutely perfect for us! And having a summer wedding, we definitely appreciated the real, air conditioned bathrooms!
When planning our wedding, my husband and I were looking for venues in the La Crosse area, when we couldn't find anything we liked, we expanded our search and stumbled upon Gatherings on the Ridge. From the first moment we met the owner, Jeanne, we instantly knew that this was the venue where we would have our wedding. After a year of planning, our wedding went off without a single hiccup. Jeanne couldn't have been more helpful on our wedding day or any of the days leading up to it. Not only is she an amazing venue owner/manager she is also a talented florist! She and Simply Lovely Creations also created the flower bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces, for my wedding and they were absolutely breathtaking. Jeanne is one talented lady and I am so fortunate to have met her! When you have your wedding here, Jeanne will most definitely become like family! :)

We had our wedding near the end of August at Gatherings on the Ridge, and I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful venue! We had our ceremony outdoors, beneath the big tree, our pictures by the blue barn, and our reception inside the main barn. Our guests had so many glowing things to say about the venue, from the space for lawn games in the back to the lovely architecture of the barn itself. Throughout the process, Jeanne was a tremendous source of help and guidance. She was always available and happy to answer questions and to help problem solve, no matter how small or unusual the request. For example, one of our guests was hearing impaired, and Jeanne helped us locate a translator who lived nearby so that she could understand the ceremony and communicate more easily during the reception. Also, as a side note, the bathrooms are beautiful! Some of our guests were worried that a barn wedding would involve port-o-potties, but that couldn’t be further from the reality. These were nicer than the facilities I’ve seen at some high-end restaurants. Over all, we could not have asked for a better location or atmosphere – it was both picturesque and utterly homey. I am so glad that we found Gatherings on the Ridge, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is considering having an event there.
