there was a sticky waxy substance on the window and ledge in my room they put me in, and it was 20 degrees hotter in my room than anywhere else in the psych unit. no draft, no air circulation. and whatever sedative they gave me made me completely wired. i had to call 911 just so they would let me leave. i sure hope things have changed there. with schizophrenia in my genetics, it was above ridiculous that they had to blast a prayer over the loud speakers every morning. yea, encourage a schizophrenic to talk to invisible people, good job. this was years back so i hope things have improved but according to a lot of word of mouth (i'm having to consider inpatient care again due to ptsd) it's still really ghetto up there.

I am a mom who never has time to take care of her self because I am always working and caring for my small family and their needs I have been severely sick for almost 2 weeks and decided even tho I could not find a baby sitter I would seek medical attention the lady that seen me in urgent care did not even listen to my symptoms before pulling up the discharge papers and tell me their was nothing she could do for me I left very upset and now what they plan to try and charge me a couple hundred for a conversation of sorry theirs nothing I can do for you. What a joke

We had all four of our babies at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital and all of these experiences were so positive. The care of the doctors as well as the nurses is truly top notch! I am so thankful for their low C section rates (some of the lowest in the country) and for the emphasis placed on helping you nurse your baby - they have such a natural approach to labor and delivery (and the water birth rooms are fantastic)!!! My last child was born in the renovated delivery/stay in rooms and they are amazing!

I had surgery here on June 12th, I drove all the way from Florida to have it done by this certain surgeon. They were very careful about Covid prevention measures and safety. The nurses and anesthesiologist were all amazing. I was a nervous wreck the morning of my surgery and they were all so kind and reassuring. Their director Stacey personally spent time with me while I was there before my surgery to put me at ease. I couldnt have asked for more helpful or caring nurses and support staff.

Great Hospital with caring staff. Exceptions are billing, known to use non-ethical techniques in the process of collections and hours billed for certain services. ER Department has Great Doctors except one who shows a strong bias against prescription opiates and lectured me about my use even though he has no first hand knowledge of my case.
