I was told I could move into my apartment the second week of June. When the first week of June rolled around I called the landlord and he moved it to July 1st. When the last week of June rolled around I called the landlord and it move to the end of July. At the end of July he told me that the apartment was no longer being renovated and he showed me 3 different apartments. I ended up going with one of those three apartments. When I moved into my current apartment I still had my landlord's stuff in my shed and some of it is still there to this day and I've been there for 2 months. I had put in some maintenance requests directly to my landlord and after 2 weeks of not hearing anything I called back and he had forgotten about my requests. I plan on moving out after my year lease is up! Edit: so after being here for 11.5 months this has been the worst experience I've ever had. My neighbors and I discovered we only had one water meter and so NMH blamed us for not letting them know sooner (my neighbors had been paying for water for the whole house). They would only come plow our driveway in winter and cut our lawn in summer if we called and complained - it's July and they only came once to cut my lawn (in May) after I called and complained because my grass looked like a meadow and was up to mid-calf level. This place is just the worst.
