The staff at Sterling Optical are all so friendly, and do a great job helping pick out new glasses and lens options. Dr. Paul DeLakis is the best doctor around. Highly recommend to anyone! Brought my mom here for her contacts, glasses, and computer glasses and she cannot stop talking about how much she loves them. Customers for life!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Paul and his super caring staff since I was a little kid and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! They are very kind and even got my glasses done the same day I was seen for an exam. 10/10 highly recommend Sterling Optical to anyone.
The Federal Trade Commission enforces the Eyeglass Rule. It requires eye doctors — ophthalmologists and optometrists — to give patients a copy of their prescription – whether they ask for it or not.\ This guy does NOT do that. Also, my prescription was so far off, that I could not legally drive with it. I have wore glasses for 36 years. I know about period of adjustment. I just want a refund and take my business elsewhere and have not received a reply. Staff is nice, but I question the ethics of the optometrist.
We’ve been using Sterling for eye exams for years. Happy with the exams; however this year we decided to purchase a new brand of contacts at Dr’s recommendation. They pushed buying from them for an annual supply to get 200 rebate from Bausch and Lomb. This is a lot of money!!! You have to jump through hoops using some bogus engagement code to claim your rewards. I called the store and the code they gave me doesn’t even work. After doing some research, it looks like many others have issues and never receive a rebate and some say it’s not even a rebate, it’s rewards to buy more Bausch and Lomb products. Bait and switch. At the store, they said you’ll just go to the website and upload your receipt and upc’s and get 200 back. This is NOT the case. So frustrating! Lesson learned.3 stars for exam services but zero for service and products.
Initially ordered 2 pairs of glasses in August. Called on phone a few hours later when I realized I could order second pair online for 400 cheaper. They can't credit back what they overcharged my card till I pick up my glasses that have been in testing for weeks and currently have no ETA. To sum it up, we are going on a month I have no glasses, my card has been charged for more than the cost of the glasses and they refuse to credit that back. When I call the store, I get put on hold till the call goes to voice mail. Please do yourself a favor and find another optical partner. I understand issues happen but their refusal to deal with the issue and give any sort of resolution tells you a ton about how they handle things. Its now the 19th of the next month and no glasses no eta.
