poor customer service, good reliable internet service comparatively speaking (satellite/broadband)...but the customer service is horrible. communication is awful. and they cannot get their billing together, to the point they will cut off your service for non-payment, even if you have tried to provide them the correct billing data multiple times. the woman I talked to yelled at me, as if it was my fault they are unable to conduct billing properly. I have never been treated that way on the phone before, 0 respect and talked to like a child.

Service is INCREDIBLY reliable day to day. In two years, there was just one system outage. It was brief, and came with apologies from ECFiber to do better. Twice I have had trouble on the 1/2 mile of cable up to my house. In both cases, the response was awesome. In the first case, a cable had frayed for some unknown reason but was still working. They were here within 24 hours. Yesterday evening, a storm hit Vermont and a 20 inch ash tree took out all my lines, power and comms. ECFiber followed right after GMP, and within 4 hours of GMP cleaning up a mess of tree and wire, ECFiber rehung their wire. I wasn't home, but got a text message from ECFiber say, \Your Service Is Restored\. VERY IMPRESSED!

Extremely poor communication. They advertise that installation happens about 2 weeks after the survey on the drop to your property, now more than a month after the survey on my property they are blaming me for not being aware that the area is still unable to be serviced despite installation of the cable on the road due to other construction they have to do, and installation at my property is unlikely to occur before late fall or winter. A decent provider would give updates advising of the delay past the promised 2 week time frame without prompting by the customer.

Difficult process to get the conduit installed, so it gets 3 stars. I may revisit if I'm super happy with the speed. The install guys were all super nice and very personable.
