Not only at the museum, but in general at the town I learned a lot about washi. I thought I already knew everything about the basis of making Washi paper, but here I learned a lot I did not know I didnt know. It was great. I do wish more information was in English.
We expect a bigger museum. Ticket combined with the Udatsu Museum. Should have English explanation and should have more exhibits to show to visitors.
Really nice and informative museum on the history of echizen washi and the making process. They have samples of many different kinds of washi for you to touch and feel the difference. There are QR codes for you to scan and you can read the explanations in different languages. Take a bus in front of takefu Station. The tourist centre will have information on the bus schedule.
