Menya Katsuki is a ramen restaurant serving up a wide variety of ramen types. They’re best known for their traditional salt and Chicken Toripaitan. They advertise their chicken as “rich” so that sounded good to me; I went for the large portion for 980 and an additional 350 for the full topping version. Slightly pricey, but how was it? While it wasn’t quite as “rich” with chicken flavor as I hoped, it was nonetheless very delicious, as the broth had a nice, salty, savory taste. The noodle portion was good for the large and the noodles were light and thin. The chashu was good and soft, but a bit dry and the slices were rather small. The kicker was the side of yuzu kosho (yuzu citrus pepper), which gave the whole ramen an extra dimension. The only letdown for the meal was the flavorless egg. Overall, I was happy with my order and I look forward to trying their other options!

best authentic ramen in town, run by only one man. strong ramen flavour is well balanced, dash so thick it hurts my hands from holding the chopsticks haha only the best there is.

旨い!文句なく。 しかしご主人一人で切り盛りしているのでたいへんな店。 アルバイトが入ってもなかなか続かない。 理由は分かっている。ご主人の指導、厳しい。 私のお気に入りは地元のマルコメ味噌を使ったみそラーメン。 それのしびれ辛口バージョン。旨い。辛さは10・20・50・100 から選ぶ。50でも私は楽勝。たいして辛くない。 うまい。
メニューに一番人気が【鶏白湯ラーメン】と書ぃてあったけど、どろどろ系も極細麺も好きぢゃなぃので【鶏白湯ラーメン(醤油)つけ麺】に!友達ゎそのまま人気の【鶏白湯ラーメン(醤油)】を注文(*・ω・)b友達の鶏白湯ラーメン少し貰ったけど、どろどろで濃厚過ぎてあたしゎ好きぢゃなかった…けど後味ゎ割とスッキリだったょщ(ll゚д゚llщ) つけ麺の方の鶏白湯ラーメンゎそんなにどろどろしてなくて中太麺で個人的にゎまろやかで好きだったな(*︶人)*。ゆず胡椒入れるのもあり隣の人の中華そばがとても美味しそぅで、気になった(*﹃*)
