Great for either walking or jogging. Came here to unwind and it was a great choice

A gorgeous park nestled away just off the highway. So many different smells and flowers in the spring. Paved and unpaved trails. The unpaved trails have dog restrictions. If you go a little off trail, there are some good views of the lake, but probably not somewhere that you would want to go fishing because of the reeds all along the shoreline.

Directions to the place led us to the wrong spot at first. Once we found the place it was pretty good. Beautiful place to walk. Unfortunately the loop isn't a full loop of you have dogs. There was a sign about half way through our walk that stated no dogs beyond that point. we turned back and along the way back we encountered an off leash dog about 50 feet away from its owner (illegal in Bloomington). Over all we had an okay experience but probably won't be back.
