Love this store! The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful. We credit him with saving one of my bird's life, after she started to have some issues with her liver. Our vet didn't help us much with the issue since we already had her on the right diet, so we turned to Parrot Island for advice. A simple supplementation of milk thistle turned her life around and she continues to thrive like a bird should! When your pets are family, this kind of wisdom and willingness to help is PRICELESS. Why go anywhere else? I love that we can order online when we can't make the drive, too!

Wonderful place. If you're tired of retail pet store chains with little variety for your bird, please give these guys a visit. They have an enormous selection of toys for birds of all sizes, and their food section (both pellets and seed mixes) was large and had a very good variety of everything. The man running the counter was extremely friendly with us and knowledgeable in all manners of avian veterinary care. If we didn't live so far away, we'd come here more often, but even then they offer shipping! Really great place.
The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and always a pleasure to talk to. Everything in his store is of the best possible quality. This place is a wonderful resource for any parrot owner.
By far the best selection in the midwest. The service is A and we couldn't be happier with the new cages. Our feathered friends give many squawks of thanks. Can't wait to visit in the near future!
