Beautiful views whilst playing on a beautifully kept course. Greens in September were exceptional. Nice wide course so very forgiving. Some nice long par fours and tricky par threes. Not that hard a course but very enjoyable. Restaurant, cafe and bar are very nice. The staff throughout were very nice and friendly. Hotel looks like a lovely place to stay. We had a day of rain, so must visit again in better weather! All round good place to visit.

Played here yesterday with 6 others. Whilst the greens were quick and true, sadly the same can’t be said about the fairways which were in really bad shape overall. 50 a tad steep considering conditions. Good pint of Guinness in the bar though.

Yes the golf course was in good condition , the clubhouse , surroundings and facilities are easy on the eye But the golf club management are the worse kind of people and leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Our society recently paid a visit there booking 10 tee times with a bacon roll/ coffee each for the handsome sum of 2000.00. They were very happy to take our money but then banned us from going again due to 1 group being reported for slow play.

Overall good vibes, nice staff. Rated only.3 due to poor cleaning, and a bad coffee. Probably a great place for a drink in the summer, and fantastic for golfers. We stopped for a drink - my partner had a beer, I ordered a coffee. The coffee was so light and flavourless, I had to ask them for another one. I got my second coffee, a double espresso ina huge mug... still not impressed with it, but the staff was very kind and tried to improve my experience, at least. I like the vintage look of the restaurant bathroom, and the converted stools.
