Great place for authentic Italian food! The restaurant is beautiful inside with a dignified but friendly atmosphere. Mario pays personal attention to every dish and the result is simply amazing. I will definitely mark this place as a 'go to' each time I visit Edinburgh.

I went there with my wife and friends for some drinks and food. We all thought it was lovely - very nice decor. The bar is a really nice place to sit and the restaurant is upstairs with great views of the Quartermile area. Good service for drinks, and the food was great too. I had mussels, and then the ravioli which was lovely. All in a very enjoyable evening and will come back.

Is a great place to go with friends, colleagues, family or even by urself!! Because the people who works there always makes you feel so welcome!! You can go and enjoy a great beer downstairs in the bar or go Upstairs to try their new restaurant area! That trust me the food is sooo good!!! And I’m sure that Denzia and Simeón would make ur time there a unique experience!! Ps: please try the Shetland mussels :P

Went in for the January deal, French onion soup and steak with fries. Firstly the service wasn't great, we were sat for 10 mins and had to approach the staff ourselves before we were even acknowledged. There was only around 3 tables with customers so they were not busy. The French onion soup was delicious, though a small portion, when getting 2 courses for 12.50 you can't grumble. No bread with the soup also. The steak was a generous portion but was very dry and unseasoned, very bland. Only ketchup could save it which is sacrilege with steak. The side salad was undressed and dry, no seasoning or oil, seemed straight from bag to plate. Very bland also. The fries were seasoned however. My latte was luke warm. I won't be returning here in hurry.

Really lovely bar - I like the decor and the seating is first class, even better than the bar it replaced a year ago. Outdoor seating too, for when the weather is nice. We ordered a pizza along with our drinks but there was a miscommunication and our order never made it to the kitchen. When this was rectified by the bar staff, we were offered another round of drinks on the house - how rare is that these days? I didn't even truly expect an apology, but not only was the staff apologetic, they went above and beyond to make it right. I already liked the bar despite the mistake, but this was a breath of fresh air in a city crowded with drinking spots. I will definitely be back.

A great bar. Beautiful interior and also has outdoor seating, both with table service. They make their own gin and beer and the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. What more could you want!
