Rachael Hendrie

During lockdown, so many things were taken away from us as a family. Thankfully with Rachael's strict procedures she was able to reopen safely and take beautiful family photographs for us to treasure. Our new bundle is our little ray of sunshine in such a difficult year, which is so fitting as the meaning of her name... Eilidh. Rachael was able to capture all of her new born features, that so quickly change. Rachael is fondly known as the baby whisperer in our house, as she knows all the tricks to ensure your baby is happy and calm during their session. Rachael helped to create an environment in which we, as a family, felt safe and relaxed. Rachael's studio is bright and spacious with a comfortable sofa to rest. Rachael allows for plenty of time for feedings and nappy changes, that come with having a baby. Highly recommend for gorgeous photographs. We love ours.

Cannot recommend enough! Our shoot was so peaceful and calm, our baby settled straight away and Rachael was amazing with her. Rachael asked us the whole way through what we wanted, colours, poses etc to make sure we were happy with the end product. Just received our canvasses and prints and they are stunning! Will definitely use again!

Just had our image viewing with Rachael today for our newborn shoot - I am absolutely overjoyed with our photographs - they’re simply amazing! We now can’t wait to receive our wall art! Rachael is a really good friend of ours (I’ve known her since we started high school!) but we were treated with all the professionalism we’d expect from such a business. She was super organised and put us at ease with what she was going to do through the shoot - she was basically the first non-family member we’ve handed our baby to. Not a worry needed though - she had our little boy sleeping soundly throughout the entire shoot, with the exception of a wee feed in the middle. We loved that we could do a few family shots too - and even got to try out a new dress she’d just received! Everything was just so relaxed and fun. We really enjoyed watching Rachael working with our son - he was so chilled out and it is clear that she just loves what she does. She also gave us loads of helpful parenting advice as she’s been doing this so long she knows how to calm a baby and get it to sleep - very useful for us as first time parents! Thank you so much Rachael! We loved the entire experience!

We had a family photo shoot (2 grandparents, 4 parents and 2 children aged 1 and 2) with Rachael at Cammo Estate in April and we are absolutely thrilled with our photos! I was really nervous about the photo shoot before hand as I don't particularly like getting my photo taken and having a very active 2 year old I wondered how it would all work! I'm delighted to say that after meeting Rachael for the first time we all warmed to her straight away and she was fantastic with the children!! She made them laugh and had techniques to get them to look at the camera which worked a treat! Rachael made us feel so relaxed about it all that it was actually a lovely experience and like a nice family day out! Rachael certainly knew where to go to take some beautiful photos in the estate, the backdrop to all of our photos is stunning! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rachael to others who are considering a family photo shoot, you will be surprised at how relaxed she makes it for you!
