Such a professional and friendly studio- couldn't recommend them more! I had planned to downsize my piercings- but because of lockdown I couldn't visit the studio in person. But, Nikki was incredibly helpful helping me prepare for downsizing my piercings at home. All the staff I've talked with have always been really friendly, informative and professional- and their social media accounts have a lot of useful piercing information too. I also recently ordered my first custom jewellery piece with help form Bold and Gold. Rachel was super helpful helping me choose my dream piece within my budget and listening to my desires. The whole process was really smooth and upon receiving the piece, I was beyond thrilled with it.

I booked in a few weeks ago to get a memorial tattoo for my dad. My tattoo was done professionally and i was made to feel welcome. Friendly staff and very clean shop. Ended up leaving with a really awesome tattoo that meant alot to me.
Hands down, the best piercing studio I've been to. It goes beyond the normal standards of a good piercing studio (and those standards are definitely there!), there's also a real passion coming from the team and a commitment to excellent quality and service. Every step of the process is very deliberate and treated with the same attention, and there's a real feeling with Nikki that she works with you and your body, not on you. I can't recommend this studio enough!
If you’re looking to get a piercing/tattoo done I’d definitely give Bold & Gold a try! The studio atmosphere is always great, I’m always a little nervous before a tattoo but Alana made me feel at ease straight away. My partner also visits the studio for tattoos from Alan & Sean, which are always very impressive pieces. I also had my lip pierced here a few years back and again was made to feel straight at ease, it healed perfectly and it still love it! I don’t think I’d go anywhere else now, thank you guys for your amazing work!
Really friendly and relaxed service. Nikki put me completely at ease both about getting pierced (my first cartilage) and about the hygiene measures in the shop given the current situation. Aftercare advice was clear and easy to follow and remember; you can tell Nikki really takes pride in her work and wants to make sure it's taken care of both in and out of the shop. Definitely top of my list for any future piercings I get, would love to be tattooed here too!

No words will do justice to the incredible service, standard and professionalism i found here, at Bold and Gold - Edinburgh. I've been wandering in many (many) piercing studios the last couple of years in US and Europe, and "Bold and Gold" is one of the best. It ticks all the box: Clean / On time / Friendly / Professionalism / Patience / Passion and a very practical and clever booking system through their website. I came super confident (The studio was recommended to me) and, god i was right. Nikki, the owner, is just amazing and you can feel the passion running there. It's no joke. The jewels selection and the possibilities to arrange, balance, upgrade are fabulous. She makes you feel like you are deserving the best of services in this industry and i can testify that without any hesitation that is absolutely true. She takes the time you need (in the slot of availability booked in advance, of course) to give you the best experience. The shop is chic, black, bold, gold, just beautiful. Great place to check out if you are looking for a piercing. Nikki, Kate and Rachel are professional, knowledgeable and so friendly. They offer really sound advice and I felt like I was in really capable hands. Oh, and the jewellery is absolutely beautiful.
