Great to go for a light upto full Scottish/English breakfast. Fresh juices and a lot of options to get YOUR breakfast for the day. Service was okay.
Not a bad stop for some lunch, even if you are hungover... We ordered full english, veggie full English and eggs royal and it did not disappoint. Loved their portions. Eggs a little overdone and could use more seasoning (a taste thing i guess) Friendly staff, fast service..Table was broken and could use fixing as it was rocking all over the place. Not a big issue tho!
Wonderful good food and lovely staff cant ask for more.
Unexpectedly good! We wandered in for a cup of coffee and a snack and being in the tourist area, expected Chez Ordinaire but it was good. Cheeseburger, Haggisburger aka Dino Burger and Panini plus 3 coffees. All nice, staff friendly and attentive plus comfortable and nice decore.
The best Cafe in Edinburgh. The atmosphere is very nice. The food is great. The prices are fair. I had breakfast there three times and I always enjoyed my meals and the service. Special thank you for the Australian Waitress who is an amazing person with a bright smile and very kind to talk to. I recommend this place 100 times.
The waiter gave the wrong dishes to the wrong people. The two first people were served 10 minutes before the last two. I ordered a cottage pie, but there was half a spoon of meat in the dish and I'm pretty sure it was powder mashed potatoes. The "pie" was a mess and tasted extremely bland and needed lots of salt. Stay away if you want authentic Scottish food.
Nice cozy place to have our first breakfast..
