Well, I will keep this short and sweet, very unprofessional and unresponsive. A leak started in Nov 2019 in our new build apartment. If our Charles White 'contact' put us much effort into steering towards a solution (which is fairly simple) rather than passing me from 'pillar to post' and looking for reasons not to resolve the leak would have been analyzed, reported on and made good by now. CWL please do not do another 'dear John' 'contact our Customer Relationship Manager response, I just ask that you solve this.

The company acts as the liaison management between flat owners in my building. They are generally very good at responding to client requests, particularly if emergency works are requested. I recently went through a nightmare of a situation when the flat above mine developed a leak that resulted in my whole bathroom being drenched in toilet water. Fiona did her best with what she could and tried to reassure me and provide me with as much information as possible while chasing up the flat owners, insurance and contractors. Their role in this situation is somewhat limited, as I understand it, but she was very supportive and informative throughout this whole process. However, Fiona is possibly the 4th client relationship manager that has been assigned to our property. While she has proven herself to be an asset in this respect, my experience with one or two of her predecessors was not so positive. She is the first liaison manager I have come across who has been prompt and proactive in response to any queries, and keeps us regularly updated and informed of new developments. Charles White in general provides thorough maintenance services but their communication to clients is sparse. I’m not sure if anybody does regular checks of buildings, but it seems that the more minor issues that need resolving will only be resolved if we actively highlight it as a problem. And we are not sure if their communication methods to other clients is effective; in the few newsletters I have received, client were told to remind tenants that bikes in the communal hallway are a hazard, but the bikes are still there and nobody seems to have said anything to the tenants. All in all a good company with a few standout representatives, but could do with improvement.

Charles White have been professional, efficient and courteous to deal with, always answering communication in a swift and personable manner. Since taking over responsibility for my development, Robyn Rae, as Client Relationship Manager, has been excellent and recently resolved an issue I had with a sub contractor. Robyn went above and beyond, making sure I was satisfied with the outcome. It is a perfect example of what can be achieved with team work, talent and a positive can do attitude.

Robyn Rae is the factoring manager for my development, and we regularly meet up at her inspections. I've found Robyn to be friendly, helpful, and will go the extra mile to deal with, and solve any issues that arise. She is currently assisting us in ensuring that the Council empty our bins on the appropriate days! Her prompt response to emails and telephone calls, not to mention her patience and tenacity are very much appreciated. An excellent ambassador for Charles White!
