Went to the drop in. Make sure you get there before 9:30 if you want to get seen as it's extremely busy but they offer great advice! I felt sorry for the receptionist as she had to deal with some grump people. I think this is a great free resource so if you can, please donate to them as they don't get much funding

I will come back and hopefully to meet the right measurements for the bad people who trying to “steal hours and dates” from their employees .. The lady who assisted me for this case, is been very polite and invite me to come back if they didn’t pay me.. There’s past two weeks, it supposed to be made in two days, then I’ve been busy, weak for the influenza I couldn’t take even a call . I’m only happy to see this opportunity to have an hand to take my rights back.

This was my first experience visiting a Citizens Advice Bureau. I tend not to write reviews but I came out feeling deflated and with an overall negative first impression. The first point of contact was the receptionist. The website states that the drop in session is from 9.30 - 12.30. Bearing this in mind, I had arrived at 11.20. She was quick to dismiss me and tell me that because I hadn't arrived prior to 9.30 it was unlikely that I could be seen. I understand that these places can be busy, but there was only one man waiting in the reception area at this point and there was still over an hour before the drop in session was due to end. She told me that I could wait but there was no guarantee that I would be seen. I found her and the nature in which she spoke to me, to be rude, dismissive and overall unhelpful. All of these being qualities which a receptionist should not posses. After deciding to wait, I was seen within five minutes of sitting down. The man that saw me was friendly enough but the advice that he gave me was incorrect and minimal. He was unsure of who SAAS were, which as someone trained in offering financial advice, I found to be quite strange. Furthermore, he had to go to another co-worker to find out information which I felt as though he should of known for himself. Thus, making me question his knowledge and reliability. I felt rushed after only spending 5 minutes with him and again dismissed, leaving without any 'advice' that I had intended to get.
