A lovely very typical Scottish cemetery! Well maintained and has some fascinating graves! Very very peaceful and spread out over several levels, like most of Edinburgh. Would benefit from a few more benches I think, especially towards the back. Really is just such a stunning place and very much worth a trip as it’s very easy to get to from central Edinburgh. Take a little pack lunch or pop to the Waitrose round the corner first and make a little wonder of it.

Wandering through this beautiful, old cemetery is very pleasant and inspiring. Definitely worth the trip (Dean Village is so peaceful, we loved it!) :) (Bonus: plenty of squirrels there!!!)
It is located in Dean Village, Edinburgh. It is one of the oldest cemetery in Edinburgh
We found this cemetery in the lovely Dean Village. The cemetery is quite big and beautiful. Due to the position of the cemetery you can have good views of Edinburgh from here as well. This is the kind of cemetery that you like to walk with wide paths and beautiful vegetation inviting to a relaxing walk.
A tranquil spot in the West of Edinburgh, accessed through a gate at the rear of the team gallery.
It's a bit weird to review a cemetery but this one is well kept and, said with utmost respect, have some stunning headstones. Despite the sombre nature, it's a very pleasant, tranquil and calming environment.
