Certainly one of the best escape rooms that I have done. All the puzzles were really well thought out and challenging yet none ever felt like too much of a stretch to get. They really fed well into the whole theme and atmosphere. A cool creepy vibe is set throughout which really suits the setting. Would definitely recommend! It felt really satisfying to complete!

We had so much fun solving this room during its trial phase. It is full of clever and interesting puzzles, which require different ways to approach them. To us what really stood out is the incredibly atmospheric setting. The attention to detail that went into recreating a scene from Edinburgh's fascinating medical research history is amazing, it really does feel like you are back in the 19th century. We have done many of the escape rooms in Edinburgh and this is by far our favourite one.

The best escape room I have ever done! It’s location is perfect for the theme of grave robbing, with Surgeon’s Hall and the old medical school just around the corner. The room itself is superbly designed with excellent attention to detail - the sights, sounds and even smells really set the scene! The puzzles are ingenious and extremely satisfying, and just when you think you’ve cracked it the plot thickens. The staff were very professional and engaging. Overall, an excellent evening and highly recommend.

AMAZING what an incredible experience! The whole thing was great-the theme, the props, the sights, sounds and even the smells. all very authentic. The attention to detail is superb ,the great variety of puzzles are well thought out ,enjoyable and challenging. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Staff were great too professional and engaging. Thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in edinburgh!

During a short break in Edinburgh, we were very fortunate to experience the ‘Escape to the Past’ Escape room. What a wonderful although eerie experience it was! We were. Group of 4, who were all in our 60’s, with very little experience of Escape rooms. The actual storyline and the props were so authentic and added to the mystery of finding Dr Malcolm’s journal. It was an amazing experience enjoyed by all and we can honestly say that we are definitely hooked now on Escape rooms. It is definitely worth a visit and will not disappoint.

We did this room during their trail stages and it was amazing. Even though the room was not quite finished the overall theme and the puzzles were fantastic. A really well thought through room and great to see more ERs opening up!! I know since we did it a few weeks ago a lot has changes to improve and complete the room so looking forward to going again to see the final product!

Have been to a few escape rooms and this was definitely one of my top 2! My group had a lot of fun. The room was well thought-out and the theme and finishing touches really immersed us into the whole experience.

Incredible escape room! So much thought has gone into every detail, you feel like you've gone back in time! We had a great experience as a group of 4, lots of different puzzles and twists and turns that kept us guessing till the very end. A really great way to spend an hour, and suitable for teens!
