The ladies in here really know their stuff and are incredibly helpful. I’m a particular fan of Fired Earth paint, which is just as lovely quality as the ‘leading’ posh paint brand, but much better value.

Disgraceful Customer Service! Ordered and paid for tiles in December. Was informed they were not in stock but would arrive in January. Tiles never arrived in January and after many confusing calls to Fired Earth informed that the tiles were expected in mid March "perhaps" and "what do you expect me to do about it". Head Office stated the tiles had left their country of origin and were on the way so I asked to be kept informed about any further potential delay to the arrival date. Head Office said they would check weekly to ensure the tiles were on track. Mid March arrives and having heard nothing from Fired Earth I called head office a number of times trying to get a straight answer only to finally be told by the Edinburgh shop that they were now expected at the end of March. They have no idea where the tiles are, what the delay is caused by, or if the date will be met and they won't be doing anything else. I would expect a professional company to be able to track where their tile orders are and inform customers if there was due to be a delay. The Delivery company called twice to try and deliver part of the order to me and even the delivery guys said Fired Earth was chaotic and had no clue what they were doing. I would advise you to save yourself the stress of dealing with this company and go elsewhere.

Ordered paint online that was incorrectly delivered. Then 3 more attempts - they have an inability communicate with their warehouse. I never received the correct paint, they never apologised.

I recently bought tiles for my new bathroom. The tiles are beautiful and I received outstanding customer service on the three occasions I went into the Edinburgh shop.

Hi I have had terrible experience using this firm. Please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere as even though you'll pay through your nose, there is no guarantee you will even get what you asked for. I was delivered the wrong coloured cabinets, and when I pointed it out, I was told they could replace them but it would take 12 to 15 weeks to make new ones. There was no way I was going to wait for that long, so I decided to live with the ones they did deliver. They offered to give me some paint for re decorating, but at the appointed time, failed to deliver it. I won't be trusting them again.
