Love it here, great range of spirits. Several parts to the place, we managed to get a booth on the bar side. Allows dogs in and really good knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great atmosphere, we went on a Saturday after Edinburgh beat Glasgow and there were 2 acts on after one another. Acoustic solo and acoustic duo, not too loud could still chat but really added to the atmosphere. Will definitely come again.

what a lovely place, quite dark but has various sitting areas. we had steak well presented and cooked to perfection sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and a cheese board with good cheese selection. we had a booth and your drinks are served through a hatch to your table quite different would return good gin selection and whisky too, staff really nice

Really nice looking restaurant and bar. Nice place for a Kaley dance . *However*, the food was not at all special and it is really bad value for money ! I ordered a Turkey Scallops filled with Haggis, and it looked more like a mini snack than a real main dish (tiny stuff!) ... And it tasted quite had My family ordered fish and chips and also steak, and for that price you can get much better tasting in other restaurants

Nice place for Scottish drink and food, live music was good as well. We had and definitely recommend artichoke bruschetta for starters and fish and chips for mains.

Stake and ale pie, mac n cheese, our favourite meal from our 3 day stay in Edinburgh, piping hot, tasty, filling. Staff friendly and happy to help. Beautiful building to boot. Couldn't ask for better.

Just wow I was very impressed by the whole decoration, the service, the food, the quality and the hygiene. Everything was perfect for any tourist who wants to immerse themselves into the Scottish culture and environment from the past of the history !!! I really like that. I took only Scottish meals by our pretty waitress recommandations

Great Scott! Great setting and music is good, but food ended up being less special than we expected. Haggis ended up being a pretty standard Shepard’s pie. Still good vibes and solid food, but if you’re a whiskey and haggis aficionado this place may disappoint.
