Wanted to charge 9 for button battery for a watch. The reason? because *their* button batteries were lithium based. So, exactly the same as the lithium button batteries available on Amazon at 4.33 for a pack of 10, then? I appreciate that retailers have overheads, but this is just silly profiteering. Oh - and they wouldn't fit the battery because my wife had opened the back of the watch to see what type of battery it needed.

Ah. H Samuel. If you are dating a teenager (and are therefor a teenager yourself) there isn't a better place for jewelery. Better quality than most Amazon and eBay junk.
