After reading the other reviews I have to say that to put it politely THEY ARE NOT VERY GOOD. They are no help at all in finding work. When I signed on I was absolutely broke with nothing in the bank and asked if I could use their computer to send emails and type letters and was refused because I had not been out of work long enough. I asked for help with travelling expenses when I attended an interview outside of town. Three guesses what the answer was.

UG should have done away with the old traditional and chilidish system of having to report to an incompetent job coach benefit police man /women in person but it has not same system different s;;';'t. If employment and support allowance can be all electronic then surely they can do the same for UG and let people on UG conduct themselves like adults , all the same procedures can be done with a computer , obviously there are some special cases out there that can't but the exceptions shouldn't be the rule to rule all. In addition this is a horrible place to wait around in the waiting area , people playing their s;';'t taste in music social media entetainment so all have to listen to it , job centre workers always after an easy time of it just ignore it. The system has not changed at all since the JSA system just more bureaucratic in a different way. Security staff randomly stand over appointments like prison officers at visiting time but do FA to extingush the anti social behaviour in the waiting area. Obviously the job center and its trad set up still exists because the job center advisers have very powerful unions who will always ensure that their members the incomptent advisers get looked after even if the clients get more and more trampled on year after year. Amber Rudd should take a flying jump.
utterly disgraceful service....had a brain haemorrhage 2 months ago....went in....made a claim for ESA & have heard nothing. Am held on the phone for hours trying to speak to someone. Terrible treatment of a law abiding citizen.
