I live in a three storey Victorian terraced house. I asked Laura McKie to design a new front garden that was simpler and less labour intensive. She knew straightaway what was required. Her design and her supervision of the project were excellent. My wife and I are delighted with the result. Everything went very smoothly and it was a pleasure to work with her. I cannot recommend her too highly.
I called in Laura in the summer of 2016 to design a new front garden for a flat in Edinburgh. She transformed a weed-ridden mess of dated concrete and ugly gravel into a beautiful, elegant space with lawn, patio, a bespoke flight of stone steps and tasteful sandstone paving that is perfectly in-keeping with the (listed) building and the character of the surrounding area. Laura and her contractors were friendly, hard-working and had a brilliant eye for detail - no problem was too big or too small for them. I can't recommend her services highly enough.
Laura helped me with the garden design for my restaurant, Redwood Bistro, in Corstorphine. She has been and continues to be an absolute pleasure to work with. Listening to my rather picky likes and dislikes regarding plants and layout, Laura designed a wonderfully fluid plant scheme for the decking beds and garden that I love and have received many compliments from customers. I cannot recommend her skills more highly.
