I feel shocked and dissapointed that Lindsays would not investigate when the ligitimasy of the sale of 20 Stanley Road was questioned. I feel devastated at the loss of a beautiful and established housing co-op. Established in 1970 and becoming a womens co-op in 1980 this is a tragic loss for the co-operative movement especially when people need community and decent living spaces more than ever. A rushed sale and an unwilingness to wait for investigation by the FCA is dissapointing and unsettling to say the least. Lindsays has demonstrated only an interested in profit and no interest in the community.

Don't sell Auchinleck/ 20 stanley Road!!! A historical women's coop stablished in 1980s is up for sell... This will destroy the oportunity for others to live in there for a fair rent, and to also create a positive impact within the community. All neighbours are against this! You are helping demolish the work of around 200 women that lived there and helped to build that community. Stop this sell!!!
