Was unable to move into the property for six months (DESPITE PAYING RENT) due to repairs being needed. This caused me to lose the funding I received for flooring as link took so long to level the floor it was revoked! I’ve now lived here for two months and the areas with no flooring are still only covered in thin plywood boards which are not waterproof. One of the affected areas is the kitchen! I have raised a complaint to level two but my housing officer closed it before I was given what was promised purely because I said I was okay with the arrangement. This company will do anything to avoid responsibility and avoid giving you the opportunity to report them to the ombudsman! I’m still waiting for the things I was promised along with a callback from my housing officer (who is only in the office three days a week at best). Every experience I’ve had with the company is incredibly unresponsive and they will do everything they can to not have to their job, including what’s written down in their tenancy agreement. The ONLY time I got a quick response was when I went to the feedback page on their website and told them I was planning to complain to the ombudsman due to trying to call them to contact my housing officer for over two weeks with two voice messages left! This company is taking advantage of the fact that people have no choice but to live in their accommodations due to homelessness! It’s truly deplorable. If you can avoid them do so. If you get them via council housing then be confident and demanding with this atrocious company and do not wait to complain and report.
