Very good. Polite wait staff and good sushi at fair prices. I'd eat here every day if I could. I have had better, thus the four star review. There are no noteworthy detractors for this Last Sushi.

I love their food ! Just nice and fresh, as you want it. The restaurant as a place to go is not the greatest. But you have delivery or takeaway, I find it very nice. It's one of my favourite sushi restaurant in Edinburgh.
The sushi was really good. Funky decor & staff were very helpful, friendly & attentive. Maybe a little too much so as I was often answering waiting staffs questions with a mouthful of food. But very good & fast service. Will definitely go back.
For the price the food in this restaurant was very good. We had different vegetarian sushi Maki and a noodle dish with crispy chicken. The chicken was on the dry side but with good flavour. The reason why we only give 3 stars is the service. While they were very attentive we didn’t appreciate having someone watch us eat and there were some misunderstandings. The restaurant was unfortunately also empty while we were eating which doesn’t help the atmosphere.
Staff was helpful but the sushi is not so fresh. Ordered special sushi set but most of the raw fish taste really funky, some of the salmon and tuna pieces are still abit frozen... what a shame. Also, the sushi chef looks very angry all the time, and she always stare at us while we are eating. very weird experience.
Luv sushi? Nah, it's raw fish, mate. Raw fish has worms in it. Boke. Disclaimer : i have never visited this establishment, but was prompted for a review by Google, and my views and preferences are based on fake news
In short, the sushi is great but the restaurant itself is not. If you're getting takeaway sushi in Edinburgh, it's a great option - delivery often takes quite a long time, up to 90 minutes, but the quality of the food you receive is really high, so simply order early to take that into account. If you're thinking of going out for sushi, I'd go somewhere else, to be honest - the decor and atmosphere are non-existent. It feels more like a canteen than a restaurant. As I say though, what you'll get on your plate is really quite good, and the menu offers up lots of choices and specials that you won't find elsewhere.
What a disaster. I ordered a big delivery for a Valentine's day night in and the service I received was absolutely awful. The food was due at 9.30. When it was 20 minutes late I tried several times to call the restaurant, every time the line was engaged or the phone simply rang out unanswered. I then contacted Just Eat and the customer service agent also tried to contact the restaurant, apparently trying several different numbers including the manager's personal number and even they couldn't get a response. The food FINALLY arrived at 10.50 - one hour and twenty minutes late. To their credit, the delivery driver was very apologetic. It was obvious the sushi had been put together in a rush because the dragon rolls fell apart, but other than that the food was fine. My Valentine's evening was ruined and I'll never order from Hay Sushi again. If you're reading this, I recommend you don't either.
