A beautiful meal on what should have been our wedding day. The waitress Saskia was very attentive and the food was outstanding. We felt very sorry for the chef, having to deal with an elderly couple, who were very difficult, vocal customers. The chef dealt with this, with the upmost of professionalism. Will definitely be back.

Great food and menu options in the heart of Edinburgh. You need to be very specific about how you want your food prepared especially with the seasoning. But overall, great food, wine and location.

We ordered mussels, haggis/arancini, gumbo and steak, and the food was quite good, the mussels were fresh. Service was mixed as one of the waitresses (the blonde-haired) was kind and nice but the other (brunette) not so much. I asked if she could give something to put my bag on but she said I should handle it myself (or put on the floor).

Beautiful ambience and good food. What better way to end a day of walking around in this beautiful city with good food. Seafood Linguine is cooked to perfection with good amount of seafood. Chicken was also delicious. Well portioned. Sadly there's no sticky date pudding to finish it off. Apparently they recently took it off the menu. What a pity.
