Amazing food and fantastic service. Recently we have been fans of getting a bowl of Ramen from here and everything from the presentation to the flavour and quality of products, is exceptional. The take-away bowls come double layered, with the broth underneath and away from the noodles and everything else. So when you are ready to eat, the texture is exactly what you would expect. The sushi and rolls are delicious and very filling. Thanks Maki & Ramen for making even take-away food still a as high quality as when eating in!

Quality Ramen in good quantity. Really enjoyed the ramen from M&R. Reasonable prices too. The service was a little slow but no complaints all in all. Great to be able to watch the chefs at work making the sushi right in front of us (forgot to take pictures!). Would definitely go back, especially to try the sushi!

Very yummy food! Sushi is great. The ramen has always been on and off - sometimes the broth is really good, and sometimes it is bland. They need to work on keeping the broth good and flavourful consistently.

Amazing food. Amazing Service! We had a great family dinner at the restaurant. The chef was fun to watch with the open live kitchen and the food was delicious. We made a reservation online and were seated very quickly. The service was great. After the meal, the manager came to check on everything. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is our favourite Japanese restaurant in Edinburgh.

It was nice to go out again. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was well organised and we were well informed for the Covid-19 regulations. Nice food and excellent service in a nice environment. The only thing I would recommend is a help sheet or a guide to the food types for those not familiar with Japanese food.
