They claim to have an excellent selection of keg beers however all their keg lines taste purely of off yeast because they mustn't have been cleaned in months. Not only is this unhygienic, it's unsafe because it could easily make people ill. Would not recommend as they obviously have no regard for the welfare of their customers.

Best club in Edinburgh by far! Really friendly staff, incredible decor and creative nights and all at an amazing price. Been to lots of clubs around Edinburgh and this is by far my favourite with a night on that everyone will enjoy!

A nice club hidden away downstairs. Reasonably priced drinks. Good venue to hire for a works do

They had advertised an r&b night for 12/04/18. I requested VIP for 6 coming up from London. The night was cancelled, the place wasn't open and nobody had the courtesy to send an email beforehand... I know they have my email address because I receive "flyers/ offers" every week from them. Bad service. Won't return.

Opal Tuesday was quite expensive and had a poor atmosphere. Music is nothing unique or special. The crowd was made up of very drunk adults who all seem desperate to pull and their drinks, which were glass bottles, ended up smashed all over the floor too which is incredibly dangerous. Easily the worst night out I've ever had, not particularly happy with having to pull tiny shards of glass out of my hand for about a week. Another girl I was with also ended up with nasty cuts on her leg. Glasses / drinks also seem unsanitary. I urge you not to visit this place, especially considering the wide range of quality nights out available in Edinburgh.

A nice space, but with 7 entry I would hope they could keep the half closer to the entrance better heated. Also stank of cigarette smoke the entire place through, because of the entrance always being open and the smoking area right at it.

An unpleasant clubbing experience. From the rude bouncers doing their best to look intimidating, to the high price of entry and drinks, to the general feeling of being herded in like cattle; there is very little to recommend here. Even when full the place lacks atmosphere, and the slow service, combined with a narrow bar area, only helps to reinforce the sensation of being crammed in like sardines. As an aside, I was once here a couple of years ago and took a swig from my drink, only to find a piece of broken glass at the bottom. I'm sure this was an isolated case, but it was alarming to say the least. I usually try to avoid giving one star reviews, as they often seem unnecessarily harsh, but unfortunately this is one of the rare places that deserves it. One to avoid.
