Great welcome, friendly staff and great food. I have ordered the Cesar salad and I asked some Mayo just in case the chicken would have been dry. I was totally wrong, chicken was perfectly cooked and the salad was the best I had in years, generous portions too! I had a sneaky look on the table next to mine and the Sunday roast it was looking very appealing! You should give it a try also coffee was good which is a rare find!

Food was really very good, but was quite shocked that we ordered what was a pricey starter to receive a bit of a pretentious portion of food (was tiny). Seems marketing themselves as an upscale cafe crossed with an upscale restaurant with upscale restaurant prices / portions. Bit confusing. However service excellent and food excellent. Really good atmosphere also. Would give 4.5 if could.

Super cute little coffee shop. The food is so yummy and the coffee is to die for. Plus the staff is really lovely. The WiFi is good and it's a good spot for working. On a weird side note the wall paper is really cool.

Always nipping in here for an afternoon coffee and I'm never disappointed. Great food in the evening too. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and lovely menu. Always recommend.

We loved it - interior, staff and food all excellent. Had hot chocolates and gluten free cakes. So tasty I had to fight my boyfriend off eating my half of the cakes. I cannot eat a number of things and they were very careful about this getting the chef to chat me thru options. All made on site too. Looking forward to booking in for their Sunday roast dinner lunch next. Book to ensure you get in. We were lucky as someone was about to leave but has looked busy whenever I walked past. A superb and very welcome addition to Portobello. Good food prices too for the area.
