My laptop completely crashed - it had the dreaded blue screen and I was getting nowhere with it after spending many hours on the phone with IT techs from Microsoft. So, after googling the best computer repair shops in Edinburgh, I decided to take it along to PC Repair man. They looked at it and told me that the drive was essentially bust. As well as data recovery they offered to reinstall Windows. The cost of this was high so I went for the data recovery and decided instead to invest in a new laptop. The laptop I had was quite old and for delivering classes online I needed a better laptop anyway. Rosie and Thibault were incredibly helpful in advising what the best makes were and the specs that I needed. Thanks to their advice I ended up with a very good laptop which I got from PC World. Re the data recovery, I did find on their first attempt that not all of my files were there / I had a series of empty folders. However, they were very happy to help resolve this (even though it took a while, as I was very busy with work). At no extra cost they looked over the old hard drive again and in the end transferred all of the raw files onto my external hard drive. They put a lot of time in to ensure I had all my files. I am thankful for their patience in seeing it through and doing their best to make sure they could recover everything they could. Apart from being good at what they do, they are also very nice kind genuine people! I would definitely recommend them.

Can't rate these guys highly enough. Our laptop was running really slowly and eventually pretty much died on us. Thibault took the time to explain clearly what had happened, what our different options were and talked us through the benefits and cost of each. We also received excellent communication and follow up from Rosie. We now have a 5 year old laptop which runs as fast as a brand new one. They also cleaned it for us so it even looks brand new! Highly highly recommend and would definitely use again. Thank you so much!
