The food is so good. Nice portion sizes that make you feel full. It's a bit expensive for an everyday spot but it's my go-to when looking for somewhere good but without a lot of faff. Staff are really nice, the social distancing was handled well and aesthetically it's quite cool to sit in the middle of Edinburgh in an American diner. Great place.

Great cosy place to have a coffee and something to eat. The coffee tasted really good and the waffles we ordered were fresh and sweet. Staff was friendly and looked after us.
It’s City effing Cafe. What more needs to be said! Great food and cheap cocktails with lovely decor and a pool table, can’t wait to go back.
Well managed re distancing etc without being oppressive. Food as good as ever and staff (masked of course) very well informed and helpful. I'd give them a try.
Delicious vegetarian chili full of veggies and came with both rice and tortilla chips. Returned the next day for the porridge. A lot of very tasty options for vegetarians!
