It is a shame that it has been closed since the first lockdown. It is one of the top Edinburgh pubs with a great history, great pub grub and a good choice of beers and whiskies.

This is the third time we are visiting during our 6 day holiday to Edinburgh. Amazing selection of beers and ciders (the girlfriend is especially happy about the cider part) and one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. Highly recommended!
Pretty much what you’d expect from a Scottish pub. Don’t drink but do love Sticky Toffee Pudding and it’s dang good here.

Quite a nice pub in central Edinburgh. Toilets are average, beer is good, service is fine. Historic building - I would go back.
