The Hive was worth visiting. They kept social distancing by limiting the amount of tables available for seating in the restaurant. Masks are required but you can take them off once you receive your drinks. The food was good but the service was below average. She was nice but I wish the server was more attentive because we had to ask her for more water and coffee refills. The coffee was actually really good and came with a delicious creamer. The Salmon was good and fresh. The potatoes and cherry tomatoes that came with the salmon were delicious. The omelette was good but bland with no salt OR pepper. The toppings and salsa together made up for it. Shrimp and grits were the most delicious consisting of bacon bits. Overall it was a good experience and I’m glad we came here

Upon arrival at roughly 10 a.m this morning (4/24/21), my wife and i (with our 2 yr old) were told to sit anywhere, but the guy shouted it from behind the counter without moving. We waited over 5 minutes for anyone to come to our table at all, and when the server came to bring us menus she said she did not even know we were there. Why did one of the three people who looked at us from behind the counter, one of which spoke (yelled) to us, not inform the server she had been sat with a 3 top? After that and briefly taking a drink order, we waited another fifteen minutes without receiving even water, and absolutely no communication. I can be understanding, you want your restaurant to be busy, but you need to be communicative and gracious to the people who have decided to spend some of what little free time they have spending their hard earned money in your establishment. It is called the SERVICE industry. If it would allow me to give no stars, i would.
Today is my first time eating here and I’m impressed. I ordered the choose four with pancakes, roasted potatoes, eggs and impossible sausage. I got home and couldn’t believe that they included everything I could have needed- plasticware, butter and syrup for my pancakes and even ketchup for my potatoes- I needed nothing from my fridge! Next, I love that they offer Impossible sausage. The pancakes are great and the roasted potatoes are even better- crisp with the perfect seasoning. Also, the prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!
Just the menu options for a start is wonderful a lot of options. Our waitress was very kind with good vibes. Definitely a family feeling of a restaurant. I absolutely recommend. I had a veggie omelet and it was pretty tasty.
The waffles come with the most delicious honey syrup ever! And their impossible Burger is the best I've had. Its huge and the bun is pure perfection. Try the sweet potato fries, this place is one of the only ones who haven't lost thier minds and put salt on them. Its just pure perfect potato. I only wish this place was open for dinner too.
The impossible burger with glazed carrots was very good. Many other tasty looking items on the menu.
Love this place! Service is great and the waitstaff is amazing. Brianna was my server and went above and beyond to help me score some lemon, honey and hot water for my bothersome throat. The food was also sumptuous, especially the salmon sandwich I ordered. 10/10, I highly recommend!
Food was pretty average, at best. The atmosphere is non existent and the staff is too busy gossiping about high school to really pay attention. It is over priced and not worth the belly ache you get later. This one is a hard pass for future visits.
