A late review but important to leave one! I went to Mel & Mia's last August for a cake for my sister's bridal shower. I came in to inquire about their options, and within a few minutes the owner came out and sat down personally with me to create a cake literally from whatever I had in mind. I ended up requesting a aked\ cake, and she created a new icing flavor that wasn't on their list just based on the type of taste I wanted. It turned out beautifully, delicious, and with perfect flowers on top for decoration. My sister loved it. Great, personal service with delicious eats!

What a find. We rolled in just before closing. But there was a line for coffee and creme brulees. We ordered mochas and Monte Cristo sandwiches. for here and to go. Excellent and cheery service. A lot more items on the board than on the online menu. Sandwich came promptly. Hot and gooey with warm homemade strawberry dipping sauce. Lovely touch. Came from Everett, but hoping to get a reason to come back soon. Maybe for high tea,needs only an hour to prep so we can call before we leave home. Thoughtful place, outdoor seating. Table for kids. Beautiful decor with changing table in bathroom. Care and cleanliness in every corner.

The food, tea & coffee is wonderful! The atmosphere is very peaceful & family friendly! The owners & staff are a blessing to be served by. May the Lord God richly bless them!
We made a reservation for high tea and it was absolutely incredible! I will be coming back again and again!! There were three of us and we got endless tea (bagged, not loose leaf, but 8-10 options), soup or salad to start, choice of sandwich, and then the 3 tiered platter of goodies. Bottom layer had shortbread scones, flaky cinnamon pastries, and ham/egg/cheese squares. The second tier had strawberry shortcakes with Devonshire cream. The top was loaded with berries (rasp, blue, straw, and black) and melt in your mouth raspberry macarons. I chose soup as my starter and it was the best soup I’ve had in months!! Made from the drippings of a roast with red wine, noodles, veggies, and chunks of pot roast. The other two at the table had salads to start that had berry balsamic dressing, fresh spring mix, strawberries and raspberries. The sandwich I chose was the cucumber chive and it had spring mix, vegetable cream cheese, cucumbers, and chives. The other two ordered the strawberry turkey sandwich and it had spring mix, strawberry cream cheese, fresh deli turkey, and strawberries. We will be back over and over!! The service was friendly and so accommodating. When we arrived and I was toting my 9 month old, she grabbed a high chair and immediately wiped it all down with disinfectant, dried it, and brought it over for us. Although there weren’t other servers, I never felt that there was only one person servicing the whole place. She was on top of refills and always around if we needed anything. 100/5 stars.
